Finally, the POCO F7 Series has been unveiled, consisting of two devices. In this particular article, we’ll be talking about the POCO F7 Pro, a device that, in our opinion, will sell like hotcakes here in Spain and throughout much of Latin America.
The reasons will be explained in the next segment, but we can already tell you that the manufacturer has done a great job on this particular model.
The premium mid-range is made up of devices that are a step below the top-of-the-range handsets on the market, and POCO hasn’t been willing to cut corners in this regard. First, we have a device that features a distinctive design compared to its predecessor. Here, the firm has implemented a rounded camera setup and squared-off sides. It’s elegant, minimalist, and conveys a premium feel at first glance.
This POCO F7 Pro has three key points in its hardware. First, it has a high-end Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 , the most powerful of 2024. This places the terminal above its rivals, especially if we add the version with 12GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, making it a true monster for those looking for maximum performance.
The second highlight is its 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED display, which boasts a brightness of 3,200 nits, 2K+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The third highlight is its impressive 6,000mAh battery, more than enough to last for hours of gaming or up to two days of moderate use. It also features 90W fast charging, a feature fans will appreciate.
However, to maintain a competitive price, the manufacturer has made some spec cuts. The most notable is in the photography department, where we find a 50-megapixel f/1.6 main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle lens.
Otherwise, this device includes liquid cooling to keep the processor at an optimal temperature, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the screen, stereo speakers, and IP68 certification.
