If you are a user of Apple TV, the series and movie platform on the block, this is probably of interest to you, since one of its series with important nominations, premieres a second season, which can be a source of joy for all those who saw the first, and were left wanting more.

In the same way, if you don't know it, you have two reasons to do so, because you will be guaranteed hours of entertainment, and you will catch up to continue, at the same time as everyone else, with this second season, which promises a lot.

Palm Royale premiere (2T)

If you saw the first season and were left wanting more glamorous drama, don't worry: the second season is here for exactly that. I'm not going to give away spoilers, but I will tell you that things get pretty intense.

Kristen Wiig returns as Maxine, that woman determined to enter through the front door of the most exclusive club in Palm Beach even though everyone tells her that she has no place. The fun thing is watching it, trying (almost angrily) to gain a place among people who live in another dimension. This season the series leans more towards the twisted: more quarrels, betrayals and moments that make you say “but is this serious?”

On a visual level, it is still a delight: impossible dresses, huge houses, endless cocktails and a sixties aesthetic that is already a trademark of the house. But it's not all glitter: beneath the perfect photos there are secrets, hypocrisy and characters willing to do anything to keep up appearances.

If you liked the mix of acid humor and social criticism of the first batch, here's more of the same but with a twist. There are new faces that complicate things and twists that, if you like series that raise the stakes episode by episode, you will be hooked.

Releases today, November 12, 2025and we will have a weekly episode, unlike other series that are released entirely at once, so you won't be able to binge in a single day.

In summary:

  • More drama and glamour.
  • Characters that never cease to surprise.
  • Good sixties posture and plenty of gossip.

My advice: prepare something to snack on, sit back and let Maxine do her thing (which is no small thing).
