While we thought it was ready to start 2025 next January, Once Human will not be launched before April. The mobile port of the survival sandbox game from Starry Studio, a subsidiary of NetEase, does not intend to miss its debut on the App Store and the Play Store. As you know if you follow us, the mobile version of Once Human promises to maintain the immersive depth of the title discovered on Steam while guaranteeing smooth performance on all compatible iPhones, iPads and Androids. This announcement follows the closed beta test that began on November 28, giving participants a chance to experience it and provide feedback. The first feedback is mixed, Once Human Mobile still has progress to make.
If you’ve never played it, it’s an engaging survival/construction game that offers a nice progression curve. Fun, Once Human is also a bit demanding, just enough to maintain interest with very successful settings and animations. But most importantly, you don’t have to face cosmic horrors alone. Lots of new features in 2025
Along with announcing the mobile release date, NetEase also hinted at the sequel, with plans for a console release and full cross-platform support in the future. Something to play with your friends, no matter their device.
Additionally, Once Human will introduce new scenarios and features in 2025. Three upcoming scenarios, Code: Purification, Code: Deviation, and Code: Broken, will expand gameplay starting in the third quarter. Each brings its own challenges, from environmental restoration to fast-paced PvP chaos.
Closer to home, January 16 marks the arrival of the Visionary Wheel, which brings new content and new strategies to existing scenarios. Events like the Lunar Oracle will test your resilience as Deviants grow in power and Sanity becomes an essential resource.
