There is still a couple of years to see the Galaxy S27 Ultra among usbut it seems that a new filter from China has wanted to get ahead of the times to give us news that, perhaps, for some it is not most anticipated.

It is said that Samsung would be thinking about formally dispense with S Pen In the near future, and what we tell you is not something unreasonable at all. Although this tool has brought great improvements in the use of the device, the company may be leaving that idea behind definitively.

The S Pen may have lost meaning

While the S Pen is accompanied by a set of uncommon benefits in other brands of the brand, over time it perhaps lost its course. It is important to remember that the implementation of this intelligent pencil arose as a strategy to increase productivity in old Galaxy Note. Subsequently, this line became integrated with the Galaxy sand since then the Ultra versions have been responsible for maintaining this accessory that, for some, is key.

It is a reality: many users who have an ultra version often use the S Pen only in very specific aspects. The firm may have realized this, and therefore has been, little by little, removing prominence, especially functionality, by no longer including Bluetooth for example, a decision that was not well received by fans. Now, with this new possibility that we do not see it in the next Galaxy S27 Ultra, it may have an impact on the community, although more from a sentimental than practical side.

Now, we do not believe that the firm completely leaves the S Pen. It is very likely that future models ultra remain compatible with this accessory, but perhaps as an optional complementas with the galaxy z fold. This would not only make the device thinner, but also allow to maintain an elegant and stylized design, one of the most critical points in these particular models.

All this is still a simple rumor, where we probably see a reinforcement of ideas and speculations towards mid -2026. Of course, we will be attentive to everything that is filtered from now on.

But tell us: Do you think this approach to leave the S Pen aside is the right thing? Your opinion is important to us.
