The function was announced together with an official Apple support document, in which the company explains step by step how to complete the process.
How to Merge Apple Accounts
To carry out shopping migration, certain requirements must be met. Both Apple ID must have two -step authentication activatedthey cannot be shared with other people and must belong to the same country. In addition, the secondary account cannot have pending balance or active subscriptions that prevent the transfer. Until now, they are simple requirements.
The process is carried out from an iPhone or iPad with both Apple ID linked: one for ICloud and one for purchases. Within settings, in the 'Purchasing History' section, an option will appear that says 'migrate/transfer purchases'. When activating it, the content acquired with the secondary account is transferred to the main account, leaving the secondary disabled for future purchases.
The process not only passes digital purchases from one account to another, but also payment methods and subscriptions linked to secondary account. In addition, Apple TV users will see that their list of pending reproductions will merge with that of the new main Apple ID, prioritizing the contents of the migrated account.
It still does not reach Spain
However, not everything is good news.
