After the end of 2025, we already know many interesting facts about the year, and among them are the Tim Cook earnings as Apple CEOand being one of the most valued companies in the world, many people wonder how much the “boss” earns.

Today we are going to reveal it, as well as talk a little about what it was like, for Apple, this year, where we saw presentations of new devices like the iPhone Air, but also some small failures and cancellations that everyone thought would come out.

Apple CEO's salary

Tim Cook came out very well again in 2025. It is no surprise, but when you see the figure it is still impressive: in total he took around 74 million dollars for his work as CEO of Apple. More or less the same as the previous year, even a little less, but it is still an amount that is light years away from what anyone normal earns.

The curious thing is that his “real” salary is almost the least of it. His base salary is still about 3 million a yearwhich compared to the total is almost anecdotal. Most of the money comes from stocks and bonuses tied to Apple's performance. Basically, if the company is doing well, he earns a lot, if it is doing average, he earns a little less, but he still earns a lot, and in case it goes horribly, at least that 3 million is guaranteed, which is something.

In 2025, the largest piece of the pie was stocks, which were around 57 million. Added to that were some 12 million in cash incentives for meeting objectives, and then a series of typical extras in this type of positions: pension plans, insurance, travel, personal security… which together add up to almost another two million.

If you look at the last few years, their salary changes quite a bit depending on how those share packages are structured. There were years in which it reached close to 100 million, others in which it fell quite a bit, and now it seems that it is at a kind of midpoint. It's not that they are cutting it, it simply depends a lot on how the incentives are distributed.

The difference with the rest of Apple's executives is also striking. The company's senior officials earn very high figuresyes, but they are still very far from Cook. Most of them are around twenty-something million a year, which is already outrageous, but they don't play in the same league.

In short, Tim Cook is the typical example of how salaries work in big technology: the fixed salary matters little, and everything revolves around actions and results. As long as Apple continues to be what it is, it is clear that its CEO will not have problems making ends meet, although if he retired now, his life would also be more than resolved.

And you, what do you think about someone like that charging these amounts? Is it fair, or outrageous regardless of what the position entails? Leave us a comment with your opinion.
