The arrival of AI has made companies start thinking about new products related to them, that are something useful for people in their daily lives, and that, until now, did not exist as such. That's what Apple should have studied before its next idea.
And, according to reports The InformationTim Cook's company would be designing a kind of pin, the size of an AirTag, that would use Artificial Intelligence and the new Siri to help us with any task we need, in a simple and easy to transport way.
What will the new Apple pin be like?
At Apple it seems that they are thinking about a small, pin-type device that works with artificial intelligence. Not as something that replaces the iPhone, but as a complement, something that you carry with you and use without thinking too much about it.
The idea is simple: instead of taking out your phone every now and then, you would have an always active device that listens to you, responds to you and helps you with quick things. Questions, translations, reminders or things like that. All very integrated with Siri and the rest of the ecosystem. The same thing happens with your AirPods when you wear them and ask the assistant something, but focused on a single product for that.
It wouldn't be something strange or super futuristic, since we have it integrated into many devices, it would just be designed as something lighter, easier to carry, possibly economical, and that would encourage more people to use Apple's AI. We don't know if it will be necessary to have an iPhone, but it would make sense for it to be so, so that it can synchronize with it, and respond using the Internet.
Within everything that Apple is doing lately with artificial intelligence, it is logical that they think about something like this, even though we still do not know of a Siri or a very advanced Apple Intelligence, although it should arrive soon, in the iOS 26.4 version, apparently.
Of course, nothing is official. Apple has not shown or confirmed dates. They may be testing it, it may come out later, or it may never hit stores. The company does many tests that in the end fall by the wayside, even though this one looks good. Therefore, we will have to wait. The first thing is for Siri to really work well, and then integrate a chip similar to that of the AirPods, in a kind of AirTag, thus being able to ask it things, or ask it to write something down in the notes, without having to take out the iPhone.
The idea is not bad, but we have many questions. How much will it cost? How long will the battery last? Will it understand us well even if we carry it in a jacket pocket? All of this will be what Apple is testing, and if they really have something very expensive, that doesn't understand you well, or that is not viable for any reason, it will end up falling by the wayside, like the Apple Ring and other similar products.
And you, what do you think? Is it a product that you would buy if it turns out as expected? Leave us a comment with your opinion.
