After this week’s announcement of the new iMac, Mac mini and MacBook Pro, Apple invited hand-picked American journalists and influencers to get a first hands-on look at the new devices. The opportunity to see the iMac M4, Mac mini M4 and MacBook Pro M4 up close and in real life. Not forgetting the new USB-C accessories.
Photos of the new Macs
Among the guests, our friends from The Verge who quickly shared striking photos. The most striking is obviously the tiny Mac mini.
As you can see, the Mac mini M4 is much more compact than its predecessor, approaching an Apple TV 4K, while offering computing power that would put most mini PC designers to shame.
Next, let’s discover the new colors of the iMac M4, accompanied by its new Magic accessories updated with USB-C ports. The colors look very good, which will not necessarily make the choice easier when purchasing. As usual, Apple’s attention to detail is to be commended, with a very high-end finish and a perfect choice of materials.
Latest device, the MacBook Pro M4. If it has not evolved externally, the only aesthetic novelty is the availability of the entry-level model in space black. Before that, only the “Pro” and “Max” models were eligible. Regardless, the MBP is still the best-looking laptop on the market. Better, it is the most powerful with the M4 Pro and especially M4 Max chips which will allow you to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows and other Cyberpunk 2077.
Availability
All of these products are now available to order. Updated Magic accessories have already started shipping, and the new M4 Macs will officially launch on Friday, November 8.
