Every Apple user uses iCloudHowever, most of us, because it is already “installed” on our devices, do it through the Finder, Files app, or wherever it is depending on which one we are using, and we do not usually enter through iCloud.com.
However, Apple has decided that it is time to give a renewal, too, to the Web pagesince there are many people who do use it, especially when they are on a Windows PC, or even on an Android, where they need to download some data from their iCloud cloud, and, therefore, they can only through this , since few people have the Apple program installed.
iCloud.com updates
Until now, the browser was just another option to enter the iCloud cloud, however, it was very simple, even though it worked well. Apple knows this, and that is why it has made a few aesthetic tweaks to give another life to this web application, in addition to new tools. This is the summary of all this that Apple presents to us:
- Dark mode: iCloud.com will automatically match your device settings with a Light Mode or Dark Mode color scheme, meaning if you have dark mode on your Mac, the browser will set it that way too.
- Customize your background: Choose between different colors on the home page.
- To choose a new background, scroll to the bottom of the home page and then click Customize Home Page.
- Calendar support and updated layout: Hijri calendar support and updated layout throughout the app.
- iCloud Drive Shared View– View files that have been shared with you in the Shared View tab.
- iCloud Photos:
- Faster browsing– Quickly jump to a month or year in your library by clicking the calendar icon.
- Set the date and time or location– Modify the date, time and location of your photos from the information panel.
- New Tile Options– You can now display an album in the Photos tile on the home page.
- Pinned Notes: Pin important notes to the top of your list for easy access. Control-click on Mac or right-click to adjust your pinned notes. You can also choose to show pinned notes or pin new notes directly to the Notes tile on the home page.
There are quite a few changes that we can see in it, and this can make many people, including those who do not have an Apple device, start using the apple cloud, since it is positioning itself as a great alternative, although it is still We are short of 5 GB of free space per account, when rivals like Google already have 15 GB. Let’s hope they end up improving that too.
And you, have you noticed these changes, or are you one of me, and you never enter the browser? Leave us a comment with your opinion about them.
