If Monster Hunter Now was a great success, some fans of the series were not keen on the augmented and geolocated reality side (Pokémon Go style). Never mind, Capcom has planned a “real” opus with Monster Hunter Outlanders, an apparently magnificently realized solo and cooperative adventure game. The first images
We are waiting for Monster Hunter Outlanders firmly
With its open 3D environments, Monster Hunter Outlanders stands out from “Now”, especially since the gameplay also follows, with a return to well-known mechanics. The publisher promises that players will explore lush, vast and open environments, and craft new equipment before facing enormous monsters in titanic battles.
In addition, Monster Hunter Outlanders promises not only a single-player experience but also multiplayer with a community side to allow you to hunt alone or in a team, depending on your mood.
Excellent news that we didn’t see coming, Monster Hunter Now being rather popular. We rather imagined that Capcom would continue to invest massively in its AR game, but so much the better. Watch the official video:
Developed by TiMi Studio Groupwhich has handled flagship titles like Age of Empires Mobile and Pokémon Unite, Monster Hunter Outlanders has everything to attract fans of the saga who own an iPhone, iPad or Android. No official release date is in sight, but Capcom has already planned a beta test session in the near future. We do know, however, that the game will be free, with in-app purchases.
In the meantime, Monster Hunter Now remains a good entry in the series, although its gameplay is too simplified for us.
