Realme has presented a limited edition of the GT 8 Pro in collaboration with the team Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1a model that opts for the racing green color, silver winged logos and a box with exclusive accessories. Inside it maintains the muscle of the GT 8 Pro standardbut adds a custom Formula 1-themed user interface and collector details that make it an object of desire for motorsport fans.

Beyond the design, this edition comes with a high-end technical sheet: screen 6.79 inches with 2K resolution and 144 Hz frequency, 7000 mAh battery with fast charging and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 as a central processing unit. A combination that, on paper, promises high performance, good autonomy and sufficient screen brightness for intensive outdoor use.

Limited edition design and extras

The back adopts a texture that imitates the carbon fibera camera module with a metallic finish and the classic green Aston Martin. Included in the box are personalized covers, car-shaped SIM pin and watermark for camera with F1 theme. It also debuts a UI with backgrounds, icons and animations inspired by the paddock to differentiate itself from the conventional model.

It maintains the same hardware, but offers a differentiated brand experience. If you are attracted to automotive collaboration smartphones, this proposal seeks precisely that: add emotional value without touching what already worked in the normal GT 8 Pro.

The panel is a AMOLED (active array of organic light-emitting diodes) 2K (1440 x 3136) of 6.79 inches with 144Hz and an announced peak brightness of up to 7000 nitsdesigned for legibility in full sun. The gaming touch comes with instant 3200 Hz touch sampling and direct current (DC) dimming at hardware level for long sessions without visual fatigue.

Inside it incorporates the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SoC, system on a chip) with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storageplus a ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under screen. The battery is 7000mAh with fast wired charging (up to 100 W/120 W, depending on market) and 50W wireless charging. The connectivity is state-of-the-art: 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC (Near Field Communication) and IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications against dust and water.

In photography, it equips a triple main camera of 50MP Ricoh GR with optical stabilization (OIS), 50 MP ultra wide angle and a 200 MP periscopic telephoto lens (until 6 “lossless” increases and hybrid zoom 120x), and a 32 MP front camera. It's an ambitious package on paper; We will have to see how it performs against heavyweights in the segment in night and long zoom.

Price and availability: for now, only in China

The Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Edition is sold in China in a single configuration 16GB + 1TB by 5499 yuan (some 668 euros to change). There is no official confirmation for Spain; Realme usually scales its special editions in phases, so we will have to wait for possible global announcements.
