Massive leak of the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro: specifications of the new beast

The launch of one of the most anticipated gaming tablets of the year is approaching. The leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed the full specifications of the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Prosuccessor to the RedMagic Astra, and the differences compared to its predecessor are more than notable. RedMagic manager Jiang Chao had already hinted at a launch window between April and May, so the information comes at a good time.

According to the leaks, the device will mount a screen 9 inch OLED with resolution 2400 x 1504 pixels and refresh rate up to 185Hz (some previous rumors pointed to 200 Hz). The processor would be Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5accompanied by up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The battery would be around 10,000 mAh with 100 W fast charging — numbers that in such a compact format require a good cooling system.

The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 arrived at MWC 2026 with a starting price of $849. RedMagic, on the other hand, put the Astra from 499 euros with specifications that in several aspects stood up to it — OLED screen and fingerprint reader included. Everything indicates that the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will go the same way: top-level hardware without the brand extra cost that others apply.
