A Macworld leak would have revealed many of the features that we would see both in iOS 26.4, a highly anticipated version in a few months, and that will bring what we have all been asking for for a long time, and iOS 27, the new system that will be released alongside the iPhone 18.

Today, we will review all those possible newswhich although they are quite possible leaks, they do not stop being rumors until they are confirmed, since any error or new decision by Apple could delay them or even eliminate them from the final version.

What iOS 26.4 and iOS 27 will bring

References to functions that do not yet exist have appeared in Apple's internal code, and as is often the case, this has opened the door to rumors about what could come in future versions of iOS. Nothing is confirmed, but it does give interesting clues about where things are going with iOS 26.4 and, later, with iOS 27.

One of the clearest points is Siri. Apple seems determined to finally give it a serious push. The idea would be that the assistant stops feeling clumsy and begins to better understand the context, your routines and what you want to do without having to talk to it like a robot. This would be closely linked to Apple Intelligence and could arrive first in iOS 26.4although it will surely be polished over time.

There are also signs of changes in the Health app. Not only a visual redesign, but new functions to keep more detailed control of your physical condition. The possibility of some extra paid service is even mentioned, something optional for those who want more advanced monitoring. Nothing mandatory, but a new layer for those who take it more seriously.

Then there are those small improvements that don't make noise, but are appreciated. For example, being able to use data saved in iCloud, such as cards or credentials, directly within third-party apps without having to fill it all out again. Freeform could also gain folders to better organize the boards, something that many have been asking for for a long time.

In the background, Apple would be strengthening the security of the system and improving the location of devices such as AirPods. And looking further, iOS 27 seems to focus on polishing already existing things– Better organized photos, faster pairings, and a stronger foundation for future health and sleep features.

In short, it doesn't sound like a revolution, but it does sound like a quiet evolution. Apple seems more focused on making everything work better, more personal and less frustrating, rather than releasing a spectacular feature just to get attention. And it is appreciated, since in the end iOS 26 has been a great aesthetic change, but at the performance level, many people have complained, so we prefer that everything goes well, before launching new designs or functionalities.

And you, are you one of those who is still on iOS 18 and does not usually update your system until there is no other option? Or, on the contrary, do you install the version as soon as it comes out despite not knowing if its performance will be the best? Leave us a comment with your opinion.
