However, is it really an essential application for playing sports? Is it useful for many things? Or, on the contrary, is it something aimed at a very specific audience and is it not going to be a subscription that we will never end up paying for, due to that we will not use it? Let’s see my experience.
Apple Fitness: what is it for?
Well, if we focus on its functions, we will see that most of them are related to the Apple Watch, which means that if we do not have one, we can stop reading here, since the app itself will be of almost no use to you, or at least not enough to want to renew the service later, since the metrics and data will come from our watch.
Once this is clear, we can continue with the app, and see what it offers us, although I have to tell you that it is little, and that is that the application is designed for doing sports at home, through bodybuilding, hiit, relaxation videosetc., so if you are one of those who goes outside to exercise, you are not going to take advantage of it either, since it does not focus on it.
And now, if you have an Apple Watch and you also want to do sports at home, is it a good option? Well, yes and no. It is true that we will have hundreds of video classes, and more are uploaded every week, however, it will focus only on that, and it may become repetitive, since in the end it would be something similar to putting a video of a class on YouTube, but without measuring the heart rate of the Apple Watch at the same time.
Furthermore, these videos are only in English, and although there are subtitles and they are well understood, for the monthly price, we would have liked, at least, for them to be translated, so we take it as another negative point.
In summary, although it is a good app and is free, paying 9.90 euros per month For her it seems excessive, at least for what they offer, however, if you are one of those who only exercises at home, wants multiple weekly classes and likes the format, it may be worth the payment, although in general terms , for most of us, no, even though it is free, the use I am giving it is minimal, and more for the sake of trying it, than out of necessity or taste.
And you, have you tried Apple Fitness+? Do you think it is a good application, or, like me, do you think it should have something more so that many users would decide to continue with it? Leave us a comment with your opinion and what you’re missing to make it really good.
