This will allow the user to create a short video summary of previous episodes of a series to resume the new season without being in the dark. X-Ray becomes more powerful thanks to AI
Amazon Prime Video is preparing to launch a feature that should greatly appeal to series fans under the name of X-Ray Recaps. This feature powered by generative AI aims to create short and easy video summaries of a series for the user. A sort of short video to refresh your memory.
A brilliant idea which should help eliminate the feeling of forgetting when you start the new season of a series a long time after the previous one. This works for an entire season, for a single episode, and even for a specific moment in an episode.
To ensure that the created video makes sense, X-Ray Recaps analyzes various video segments, subtitles and dialogues from the selected series in real time. Amazon has obviously provided a control system which makes it possible to avoid spoilers in the summaries.
X-Ray Recaps can be activated at any time via the series presentation page and even during playback via X-Ray. Please note, the functionality is currently in beta and reserved for certain users. The official release is planned in the coming months.
