Nubia's next gaming mobile has already been seen ahead of time. A new certification in the TENAA database advances the main specifications of the Red Magic 11 Airthe most accessible model of the future Red Magic 11 family, and is emerging as a strong candidate for long gaming sessions without depending on the plug.
Although there is still no official presentation date, the appearance on TENAA is usually the next step. prior to the announcement in China. And, seeing what has been leaked, Nubia is preparing a replacement with more battery and a larger screen, although it presents a curious cut in the photographic section, compared to the Red Magic 10 Air.
Large screen and high-capacity battery for long gaming sessions
According to the certification, the Red Magic 11 Air would mount a 6.85 inch OLED screen with resolution of 1216 x 2688 pixels. It is a slightly larger panel than its predecessor, clearly aimed at those who play horizontally, watch series or spend a lot of time with competitive games where every millimeter of screen helps.
To support this set, the listing speaks of a battery with a nominal capacity of 6780 mAh, which points to about 7000 mAh typical. On paper, it represents a significant jump compared to the 6000 mAh of the previous model, indicating that Nubia seeks to offer hours of gaming without the user having to worry about the charger, even if the system activates the fans or high-performance modes.
Regarding the design, the measurements that appear in TENAA (163.82 x 76.54 x 7.85 millimeters) and the approximate weight of 207 grams point to a relatively thin device for what is usually a gaming mobile, but still powerful in hand. The logical thing is that it maintains the aggressive aesthetic with straight frames and the occasional RGB touch, because at this point the Red Magic family already has a well-defined aesthetic identity.
Very powerful hardware… with still unknown processor
The most striking data on the technical sheet is the maximum speed of the CPU: 4.2 GHz in one of its cores. This fits with Qualcomm's upcoming high-end chips, but for now TENAA does not mention the commercial name of the processor, so we will have to wait to find out if we are talking about a new generation Snapdragon 8 or a somewhat trimmed version.
The memory would not be short either: the Red Magic 11 Air would offer configurations from 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage even variants with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TBfollowing the brand's usual ambitious line. As usual, microSD expansion is not expected, so it is better to choose the capacity well from the beginning.
In the camera section there does seem to be a small step back. The rear part would combine a 50 megapixel main sensor with a 8 megapixel ultra wide angleinstead of the dual 50-megapixel sensor of the Red Magic 10 Air. In front there would be a 16 megapixel camera, which could go again under the screen so as not to interrupt the panel, something that is more noticeable in daily use than it seems when you come from a mobile phone with a hole.
What changes compared to the Red Magic 10 Air and what we can expect
If we look at Red Magic 10 Airpresented in April, Nubia's move makes a lot of sense: it maintains the thin body and the gaming focus, but clearly increases the battery and the size of the screen, while adjusting the photographic section to contain costs. It is a very direct approach for those who prioritize sustained performance, autonomy and panel above all else.
In addition, the Red Magic 11 Air is expected to inherit classic elements of the range, such as the side touch triggersactive cooling system with fan and probably a headphone port. These are details that may seem secondary on a specifications sheet, but they make quite a difference when you've been playing for a while and the phone is still cold and comfortable.
For now there is no data on fast charging, but, looking at the history of the brand and the size of the battery, It would be strange to go below 80 watts. It is also not ruled out that Nubia will take the opportunity to introduce improvements in the software part, with more tools to record games, adjust performance profiles or even integrate more AI functions to optimize games.

The TENAA leak leaves the Red Magic 11 Air as a very solid candidate to become Nubia's new “affordable” high-end gaming mobile: lots of battery, large screen, top-of-the-line hardware and some smart cuts in the camera section to avoid skyrocketing the price. On paper it sounds great, although its behavior in everyday use will have to be checked.
If Nubia confirms the model soon and maintains prices close to those of the Red Magic 10 Air, we could be looking at one of the most interesting mobile phones to play in 2026, especially for those who do not want to go to the Pro or Ultra models.
