With iOS 18, iPhone users can now customize the flashlight and camera shortcuts on the lock screen, and Snapchat is one of the new options available.
Snapchat is everywhere
Snapchat announced on its official website that iPhone users can now quickly access the app’s camera view directly from the lock screen, even when the device is locked. To enable this feature, simply update to the latest version of Snapchat. Then hold your finger on the lock screen, select the “Personalize” button, tap on the lock screen, remove the flashlight or camera shortcut by tapping the minus sign, tap the plus sign that appears, and choose Snapchat from the Control Center gallery.
Additionally, Snapchat update brings camera button support for all iPhone 16 models, allowing users to instantly open the app’s camera using the dedicated button .
Snapchat users can now capture moments even faster, before they disappear. Users can customize camera control on iPhone 16 and change lock screen controls on any iPhone running iOS 18 to launch Snapchat app and take photos and videos, even when iPhone is locked.
A way to be even more responsive for all fans of Snap, the social network that has carved out a place between Instagram and Facebook.
