The Pixel 10 has only been in stores for a few months and Google is already focusing on its successor. They were published by Aandroid Headlines next to the filter OnLeaks: They are not official images, but 3D reconstructions from real hardware measurements. The shape and size are usually reliable in this type of leak; the aesthetic finishes, less so.

The most obvious change is the camera bar: outside the two-color oval, inside a completely black bar from side to side. It is a purely visual adjustment, but it gives more coherence to the entire range. It is also suggested that the infrared thermometer could disappear, one of those additions to the Pixel Pro that never convinced anyone. The dimensions would be 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mmalmost identical to the current model.

One more generational leap behind closed doors

Where the real changes are expected is inside. The chip would be the Tensor G6, manufactured by TSMC in 2nm process. Google has been prioritizing sustained performance in AI tasks over benchmark results for years, a bet that makes sense on paper but has historically cost it unfavorable comparisons against Snapdragon and Apple Silicon.

The screen would still be 6.8 inch LTPO AMOLED. And then there is the rumor that stings the most: Google could lower the base RAM from 16 to 12 GB in the Pro models due to the increase in costs. It is not confirmed, but if it comes true it would be a step backward that is difficult to justify in a high-end phone. The launch would point to August 2026, in line with what Google has done in recent years.

In short, the Pixel 11 Pro XL looks like a contained evolution. If you have a Pixel 10 Pro XL, what's leaked so far doesn't give clear reasons to jump. Google has been fine-tuning the same formula for several cycles—which is not a bad thing in itself—but at some point it will have to make a real move.
