Kuro Games has rolled out the highly anticipated Wuthering Waves 1.3 update, enriching this genre-defining game action-RPG in an open world with new content, including the mysterious region of Black Coastnew playable characters, and additional quests. With its dynamic exploration, sophisticated combat system, and strategic customization via the Echo system, Wuthering Waves continues to attract players in spades since its release last May. Although the story takes a little while to get going, it quickly becomes gripping with intriguing antagonists, although the increasing difficulty might put some off.
A huge update for Wuthering Waves
The region of Black Coast is a real mystery to explore, divided into two main areas: theBlack Coast Archipelago and the Depths of Tethys. These environments are full of secrets, formidable enemies and fascinating landscapes. As you explore these lands, you will gradually uncover the hidden past of this once isolated island, while a blue silhouette hints at the dangers to come in the new main quest.
To explore this new area, you can count on two new Resonators. There Guardian of the Coasta 5-star character, excels in healing, crowd control, and damage amplification. You can also count on Youhua 4-star Resonator specializing in survival healing and resonance skills.
New weapons are also appearing, such as the Stellar Symphony (5 stars) and the series Deep Sky Blazar (4 stars). Put them to the test against the new boss, the Heresy of No Returnwhich resides on the border between the real and virtual worlds. Two new Echoes, Phantom: Gulpuff And Phantom: Limestone Builderare also available.
Enriching the narrative content, this update offers a multitude of events and challenges. Whether with the exploration event Where the stars sleep or the cooperative challenge Fairytale finaleyou will have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your skills and win exclusive rewards.
And, in addition to the main story, several events and challenges are also included in the update. From the exploration-focused ‘Where Stars Slumber’ event to the ‘Fairy Tale’s Finale’ co-op battle, there’s plenty to do, with rewards to be had.
