Xiaomi accelerates with HyperOS 3 and is already testing the version based on Android 15 in twelve models. The information comes from internal records of evidence and first regional builds, and anticipates a progressive rollout, in which some devices will receive their last major update before closing their life cycle in terms of software support. Good news for those who have a mid-range mobile recent… and a warning for those who have older models.

The key is that HyperOS 3 will coexist with Android 15 and Android 16 depending on the device. In the models that remain on Android 15, Xiaomi prepares compilations stable with interface improvements, animations and consumption optimizations, although minor versions, such as 3.1, may not be guaranteed.
