If you remember, pre-orders for the iPhone 16 began on September 13 in France and in priority regions such as the USA, India, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom, with an official launch on September 20 . The same day, Apple opened pre-orders in more than 20 other countries. These countries now have the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro available in stores.
Among the new countries where the iPhone 16 is now available are Brazil, Georgia, Macau and Vietnam. In addition to the new iPhones, Apple is also launching new accessories in these countries.
What’s new with the iPhone 16
One of the highlights of the iPhone 16 range is the new Camera Control feature, a touch button to manage camera settings, such as changing lenses or zooming. Still, it is quite divisive. Some love it, others hate it.
The standard range gains a macro photo mode and the Action button, while the 16 Pro sees its telephoto lens increased to 5x and a 48 Mp ultra wide angle sensor.
The devices also feature the more powerful A18 chip, designed to run Apple Intelligence features. In the Pro range, Apple has increased the size of the screens as well as the battery capacity. As a result, the iPhone 16 Pro is 6.3 inches and the iPhone 16 Pro Max reaches 6.9 inches.
