apple finance iconApple has scheduled its first conference call of 2025 for Thursday, January 30, as announced on its investor relations website. As usual, it is a question of taking stock of the past quarter, in this case the fourth of the year 2024, which is, for Apple, the first of the fiscal year. Apple begins its fiscal year on October 1.

A first for Kevan Parekh

The conference call will feature Apple CEO Tim Cook and new CFO Kevan Parekh, who will discuss the company’s financial results for the 2024 holiday season, covering the period from October to December. This is the first earnings discussion for Parekh, succeeding Luca Maestri, who moved to a new role as vice president of corporate services after his last earnings conference call in the fourth quarter of 2024.

In the last three months of 2024, Apple introduced new models, including the iPad mini, Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and iMac. This conference will provide initial performance metrics for these products as well as information on holiday sales figures. In particular, we can’t wait to see how the iPhone 16 range performed.

In the first fiscal quarter of 2024, Apple reported revenue of $119.6 billion with net income of $33.9 billion. During the last quarter, the company expected its revenue to increase year-over-year in the range of 1% to 5%.

There conference call on the results is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Pacific time (11:00 p.m. in Paris) on January 30, immediately following the publication of the first quarter 2025 results report.
