It is clear that iOS 18 has been one of Apple’s most interesting updates to date due to some of the new features it brings with it. The answer would be yes if iOS 18 allowed you to return to the original interface and alternate it with the new design depending on the user’s preferences, but at the moment there is no way to switch to the old Photos app, so no. The only thing left to do is to hold on and learn to use it.
Tips for using the new Photos app
Because many users still feel lost with the new Photos interface with iOS 18, it is important to mention a few basic notions for getting around through the application without too many problems. The most relevant thing you should keep in mind is that the top part of the screen includes your entire gallery.
You just have to scroll vertically to go back in time and see old photos. You can move by year, month or day to make finding a specific image easier. Additionally, with the up or down arrows that appear on the left you can modify the view of the photos depending on your needs, as well as order all the files based on different parameters.
