He Samsung Galaxy A37 has finally taken its first “official” step: the test firmware has been detected on the brand's internal servers, confirming that the next mid-range model of the Galaxy A3x family is already in development and that the hardware seems to be practically defined, although the details have not yet been made public.
In addition to this firmware, the SM-A376B model reappeared in the IMEI databases a few weeks ago, and now the variant also appears SM-A376Udesigned for operators in the United States. Everything indicates that Samsung intends to expand the presence of this range in more markets, including the United States.

The clearest clue comes from a leaker who has shown a build with a version number A376USQU0AYK3 on Samsung test servers. This is a preliminary version of the firmware, intended to check the connectivity and stability of the system, but enough to confirm that the Samsung Galaxy A37 exists and that the company is already fully involved in the software phase.
For now, this listing does not reveal anything about the technical sheet: there is no screen, camera or battery data, and not even the processor has been confirmed. Other leaks talk about a possible use of a Exynos 1580 SoC (System on Chip) or of a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4but they are scenarios being studied rather than closed decisions, so it is advisable to take them quite calmly.
What can improve compared to the Galaxy A36?
If we look at the current Galaxy A36it is easy to imagine where evolution should go. The 2025 model already offers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120 hertz, 5000 mAh battery, 45 W fast charging and a 50 megapixel main camera, powered by a processor Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
In theory, the specifications are promising, but several analyzes agree that the performance of the Galaxy A36 falls a little short for its price and that the design is too continuous with respect to the Galaxy A35. If the Samsung Galaxy A37 really goes up a notch in power, improves the finishes and slightly adjusts the price, it could be the leap that many users are waiting for without wanting to go to the high range.

There are also clues on the calendar. The Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A36 were introduced in March 2024 and March 2025, respectively, and several sources place the Galaxy A37 in the same window: spring 2026, probably between March and April, accompanied by other models such as the Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A27 within the mid-range.
As for the software, rumors suggest that the phone could already arrive with Android 16 and One UI 8.5keeping the promise of 6 years of updates of system and security that Samsung has brought to its most recent mid-range models. If we add connectivity to that 5G (fifth generation of mobile networks) and a price around 400 euros in Spain, we would have a very serious candidate to dominate the mid-range of 2026. It remains to be seen if Samsung meets what many of us are wanting: more power, a better camera experience and, above all, that the mobile works fluently and without problems in daily use.
