Lenovo is taking advantage of CES in Las Vegas to stock up on new products. And among the products he unveiled at the show, there is the IdeaCentre Mini x, a new compact PC which is positioned as a direct competitor to Apple’s Mac mini. It is important to point out that Lenovo already markets mini-PCs. However, IdeaCentre Mini x is the very first product in this category to use Qualcomm processors instead of Intel ones.

The first mini-PC with a Snapdragon X chip

This is very important since, thanks to an Arm architecture, and its Oryon technology, Qualcomm has managed to develop chips for Windows PCs that challenge Apple chips in terms of performance, energy efficiency and computing power for ‘artificial intelligence. Lenovo offers three processor options: the Snapdragon X Plus, the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core, and the Snapdragon In any case, this mini PC will be equipped with a 45 TOPS NPU for AI, allowing it to support Windows 11’s Copilot+ features on Arm machines.
