The crossover trend is far from over. After Marvel Rivals and State of Survival, Reverse: 1999 now joins forces with Ubisoft’s iconic Assassin’s Creed series to offer a renewed experience. A very nice advertisement for this strategic RPG to discover urgently.
Reverse: 1999 welcomes Assassin’s Creed
Assassin’s Creed, a cornerstone of the French studio since its inception in 2007, will soon bring its rich history to Reverse: 1999 with content inspired by Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and many fan favorites, Assassin’s Creed II.
Details are scarce at the moment, with only a mysterious trailer released so far. However, given Reverse: 1999’s focus on time travel, this partnership seems like a natural fit for exploring Assassin’s Creed’s expansive timelines. Along with this, fans can expect the official Reverse: 1999 merchandise store to launch on January 10.
Assassin’s Creed II’s continued popularity among fans is a testament to its legacy within the franchise. It’s no surprise that Odyssey, known for its exploration of unique historical periods, is also part of this collaboration. We can’t wait to find out more.
Our opinion on Reverse 1999
For those who have not yet tested Reverse: 1999, know that it stands out for its authentic English charm. Thanks to the famous London accent and a cold atmosphere, full of saturated colors, you are immersed in the typical British atmosphere of the 20th century. The game world is set in a regressive era starting in 1999, where only a few, like the young protagonist Ms. Vertin, can perceive the mysterious rainstorm that reverses time.
Gameplay emphasizes strategy, where players must synthesize skills, manage actions in turns, and use a “passion” system to unlock ultimate skills. Everything is well punctuated by animations and dynamic interventions. In short, you never get bored in Reverse!
