When acquiring some Apple, there are thousands of cheaper imitations which, sometimes, are very good, and replace the original product without hardly noticing it, but that in others, offers us a quality well below what was expected, and we would only be throwing the money.
Today we are going to review those products that we can see on websites such as Aliexpress, and that attract us attention to its low cost. You have always wanted to have some airpods, but they are very expensive, and yet in these pages, you see them for 20 euros. Are they worth it?
What to buy imitation and what not
We will talk about the 5 most wanted products currently on these types of websites that offer us imitation devices, better or worse quality, depending on the price, but in global, they are quite easy to classify in recommended or not.
- AirPods: Not recommended. They usually fail in sound, battery and connection. In addition, many do not have key functions such as noise cancellation or instant synchronization with iPhone. It is true that at the price level we can see them for 20 euros, but the experience of the originals has nothing to do, and they are clearly noticed, except for more professional imitations, and, therefore, more expensive.
- Lightning/USB-C wires and cables: yes, recommended but carefully. If they are certified or of good quality, they can work the same as the originals at a lower price. The cheap without certification, on the other hand, can be dangerous for your device, so it will depend on which one you choose, but many come from the same place and with the same quality, but without paying the brand, so we recommend them.
- AIRTAG: Yes, recommended. It is true that there are imitations that do not work with Apple’s “search” network, so these should be ruled out, however, those compatible with this network, work the same as the originals, with the improvements in design and price that we can find. I have one in Ugreen card format and apart from offering more battery duration, and being rechargeable, it costs me less than an AirTag and on top of the different format is ideal for wallets.
- IPHONE OR IPAD: Yes, Recommended. There is hardly any difference between an original case and a decent imitation. Here it is worth saving. In my case I have had the skin of Apple and Aliexpress, for 50 and 5 euros respectively, and I could say that the result has been the same. To the touch and the view, you would not be able to differentiate them separately.
- Apple Watch: Not recommended. The clones do not have watchos or the Apps ecosystem. In the end they are only cheap watches with similar appearance, but without the real experience, so you are paying for appearance, but you will not get, or from afar, the quality of a real one.
