After iOS 18.1.1, iPadOS 18.1.1 and macOS 15.1.1, Apple also released visionOS 2.1.1, a minor update to the visionOS 2 operating system, which debuted in September. This update arrives three weeks after the launch of visionOS 2.1, a version which brought nothing concrete to users.

Another small update

Lucky Vision Pro owners can install visionOS 2.1.1 by opening the Settings app, then going to the General menu and selecting “Software Update”. During installation, the Vision Pro headset should be removed, with a progress bar displayed on the front display of EyeSight.

Apple also releases visionOS 2.1.1 for its headset

This update focuses on essential security fixes rather than introducing new features and is obviously recommended for all Vision Pro owners.

For the record, visionOS 2 added several improvements, including 2D spatial photos, Persona updates, an improved guest mode, and much more. The next step is visionOS 2.2, including support for the Mac’s ultra-wide screens (in monitor mode).
